Rodange LOT 18,19,20
Located in Rodange and forming part of a new large-scale development under the current PAP framework, this single-family houses are conceived as a contemporary interpretation of the compact urban home. As part of the commune’s initiative to promote affordable housing, this new quarter addresses Luxembourg’s ongoing need for accessible living. Land plots are offered at reduced prices, creating opportunities for inclusive and well-planned residential development. The project responds to its emerging residential context with a clear, monolithic volume defined by precise geometry and balanced proportions. The architectural expression is characterized by a restrained material palette. A smooth white rendered façade forms the primary surface, articulated by natural stone elements that frame the openings and add texture and depth. Vertical timber cladding accentuates the recessed entrance, introducing warmth and a subtle contrast to the mineral envelope. Generous glazing and recessed balconies structure the façades, enhancing natural daylight while maintaining privacy. The interplay between solid surfaces and transparent elements creates a composition that balances openness and enclosure, resulting in a refined and timeless architectural identity.
